LVT is broadening its horizons. Beyond its popularity in residential settings, LVT is also gaining ground (lots of ground!) in retail, healthcare and educational applications. Hospitals and clinics alike are mixing and matching LVT designs in lobbies while schools are using wood look LVTs in corridors to achieve less institutional looks. Improved finishes and wear layers have added to LVT’s durability and helped reduce maintenance requirements. Manufacturers such as Metroflor are also exploring vertical application possibilities so look for LVT to be showing up in even more places!
Less is More
There is a saying in the art world, “less is more”. A splash of red on a field of black and white or a slight bend minimalist sculpture can add just the right amount of interest in a piece to make it complete. The same is true in design.
Domotex 2016 Blog
Domotex is always cold and windy but this year we were treated to a beautiful snow fall the first day that created a winter wonderland atmosphere for a couple of days. This year’s attendance was definitely up from last year and when asked what most people thought of the mood they agreed that it was positive and focused on the future. The Aspecta booth was redesigned for the show to have more wall space to exhibit our product, which also made for more intimate spaces and customer interaction.
